Skippy Well I have a tlt and I was wondering what is better 55turn or Axi 2212/26 Brushless Motor?

guess it depends on what you mean by "better." the 55t will have more outright torque. so if you want to pull stumps and break axle shafts, stick with the lathe motor. but if you're after a lightweight rig with a low CG, then the Axi is the only way to go. just like i said before. the Axi and the Mamba together weigh less than a Super Rooster alone. this gives you more freedom in chassis design, since it's not that critical where a 2 ounce motor goes. just don't get it wet. they don't like wet at all. |

The motor or the speed controle dont like the water. I want to put the mamba and axi in my scale rig witch is going to be a mudder as well. but if it wont work for mudding I might just have to stick with a lathe an rooster |

if you want more torque, get a bigger brushless outrunner. the one that i am using (mpjets biggest) pulled 50 pounds last night on a tractor pull sled, all the way up. twin axles, maxx tranny, no reduction with a 66/14 spur/pinion. I was suprised.
