Default HELP! Changing Profiles on Novak Rooster crawler edition!

So Im making my transistion (finally) from Nimh to li-po. Heres my dilemma, My rooster says it has four driving profiles. 2 are for Nicad and Nimh and the other 2 are for li-po. Here are the instructions, it can be found on the 2nd page on the very bottom right.
http://www.teamnovak.com/download/in...r_crawler2.pdf

Anyways when I press and hold the one set button it does activate both red and green leds(like it says it will) and it tells me to release immediately(which i do) and then both go off for a second then they both go on for two consecutive blinks then the red led stays on and the green led flashes 8 times( that i could count) and then the red led stays on like its ready.
In the instructions it says that you will know which profile you are in by how many times the leds flash. I have now tried this procedure a 100 times and get the same result every time that i explained above! So how the heck am i suppose to know what profile I am in if it keeps doing the same blasted thing lol!

Im sure im doing something wrong or missing something. Im using Nimh battery for this procedure. Should I already be using my lipo? does that matter? anyways im sorry ahead of time if I made this simple process difficult but thanks for all your help in advance. Thanks!

According to the instructions, the two blinks means you are setup in profile #2 which has the li-po cutoff(the one you want).

If you quickly tap the set button immediately following the "blinks" you will change the profile setting.
Hope this helps.

So I tried it and it seems to be working! I think I was looking for 3 or four blinks not understanding that they are group into 2 options then sub options for driving prefrence. Thanks! I think its solved!

OK...I'm confused. Are you talking about driving profiles ot throttle profiles because the link and instructions that you refered to are for throttle profile. I dont see anywhere in those instructions "Driver profiles"

There is a rooster, and a rooster crawler.

Rooster has 4 profiles. Rooster Crawler has two.

There is an "addendumn" to the manual, and a separate crawler manual.
