The not for monster trucks is mostly to discourage people from running a mamba max with a huge B/L motor in an E-Maxx or Savage and go fast. That's what the Mamba Monster is for. I've seen a lot of people successfully run rooster crawlers in supers, and the mamba max is rated to a lot higher current than the rooster. The mamba monster is overkill for a crawler. It's huge, and expensive too. The mamba max (for brushed anyways) is the smoothest ESC I've ever used, it's shockingly durable and castle supports their products better than any company I've ever dealt with, R/C or otherwise. The only beefs I have with it is that the BEC is not strong enough (but who's is, really) and it's somewhat large (the FX-R will spoil you like that) There are other good speed controls out there, but I think you'll be hard pressed to do better than a Mamba Max with a CC BEC. |

to clarify, it's Mamba Max and Mamba Monster. I have a custom super 1/8 about 10 lbs, 3s lipo MMax does great Just bought a MMonster for my custom 1/5 AWD 6s lipo car Dont think you need a MOnster if your doing dual Brushed. If your doing dual motors you could do dual Mmax's |
