You need to run a reciver pack the glitching is caused by not having enough power. The factory bec cant power all 4 servo's.

I just did a post about this, but it was with only 2 servos and I found that a reciever pack fixed the problem. I just cant find where it went, I didnt delete it because I thought it would be of some help to someone like yourself.

I found it, for some reasion I thought I posted it in electonics, but it is in Newbie General.

thanks for the quick replies guys, but......

i'm running a 6v reciever pack.

have i done it right? i've just connected it to the red & black wires on the servos, then ditched the red wire on the feed from the esc (traxxas cvx)

sorry to be a pain with such a dumbass question.

Here is a schematic I modified to illustrate the proper wiring for your situation.

You need to make a custom Y-harness.
Do not power four Servos through your Rx leads.
The excess current draw will cause your Rx to “glitch”.
Connect the red & black leads from your Rx battery directly to the servos.

Do NOT connect the red wire from the Rx battery to your Rx or ESC.

By the way, A voltage regulator is a better alternative than the Rx Battery.

ok think thats what i've done. just had a look to be sure. i get the feeling i really didn't explain this to well in the first place, sorry.

i've modified the harness which connects all the servos together & links them to the rx.
the esc has the red wire that goes to the rx dissconnected, but still has white & black connected to the rx.
the rx battery pack is wired straight into the harness between the rx & servos. some1 told me to do it this way rather than to plug the batt into the rx & draw power through the rx
all the servos are driven off of a single channel on the rx, not split for front & rear across two channels

hope that makes more sense to u all.

any ideas, or have i still got it wrong.
