Sidewinder to a dx3 HELP NEEDED

Ok, I have a sidewinder that iam trying to hook up to my dx3 2.4. I can't get the sidewinder to accept the dx3. I havethe castle link and have the arming time at 2.5sec and the deadband on little. I alyays have been able to set these to any radio but I have never tried to a 2.4. Is there some special settings I need to do to make this thing recieve the dx? I had it working perfect on my novak the other day and the sidewinder was working fine on my tq3. I have every thing hooked up right but the lights come on and the initial beeps come on but it never recieves the full throtle beeps. Help please....
