Default Would any of these radios work?

For a berg 2.2 with dig, possible dual esc, but probably not.

Futaba 3PM http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...stem-No-Servos

Traxxas 4 channel TQ http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...stem-No-Servos

Airtronics MX-3FG FHSS-2 http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...annel-Receiver

Airtronics RDS8000 8-Channel 2.4Ghz Crawler Radio System (w/FREE RX) http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...stem-w-FREE-RX

I'm sure the last one would, but if anyone has any experience or input on that one i'd appreciate it. I'm also not sure I want a stick radio. I don't have any experience with either, as I don't have a crawler yet, just pricing all the parts to build one, but it just seems like the pistol type is more popular and easier to use, but I may be mistaken. Thanks for your input.

Yes they will all allow forward/stop/reverse. What is the question?

If they would work with dual ESC or Dig, from what I have been reading those features need a radio with a certain channel type or quantity.

If you are looking to run 2 esc's on seperate channels then you will need a stick radio. I would suggest a DX6i. It is a very capable radio and should fit your needs very well.

If you run a single esc and plan on using a 2 switch or punk rc dig switch a DX3R will work just fine.

[QUOTE=mhuffman_81;1894212]For a berg 2.2 with dig, possible dual esc, but probably not.

Futaba 3PM

Front dig easy with punk on single esc or novak with duals. Rear did will be a challenge but possible I'm told but I can't figure out how to do it.

Traxxas 4 channel TQ

Front and rear dig with punk on single esc or novak with duals if moded to 3 position third or forth channel

Airtronics MX-3FG FHSS-2

I have no idea

Airtronics RDS8000 8-Channel 2.4Ghz Crawler Radio System (w/FREE RX)

I have no idea

I'm running a 3pk with duals, the 4pk works better for rear dig. They both allow proportional mixing so no dig switch is needed. I don't see any advantage to running duals (endless ya go brushless) and a 3 position switch. The punk works great for one esc. But poportional mixing and independant front/rear control is way kool with duals and good radio (3pk/4pk/dx6).

Cool thanks for the info, that's great. I will probably end up getting a stick radio that way I can get good control with duals. I have no experience with either type, but the pistol type seems to be more popular, but it definitely seems that for duals with independent control of both axles and I would like rear steering that a stick would be my best bet.

Thanks again

If you've got no RC experience, go with a stick radio - sticks aren't any harder to learn with, but it can be difficult to switch to stick if you learn with a wheel.

You'll get a much more capable radio for your money if you choose stick.
