Default Need info for best BEC voltage setting.

Well I am just putting this AX10 together. Running a Tekin 35T and FXR ESC. So far just a steering servo. It is a digital JR Racing DZ 8550 rated @ 188 oz. Looking to buy a CC BEC. Currently it will be run with a 9.6v NIMH with plans to go lipo soon.
Looking for any recommendations or any experience with this servo and the best voltage setting on the BEC. 6V is safe but was wondering if bumping it up a bit would be good. Thoughts or ideas welcome. Thanks in advance

that 225 will be toast at anything over 6v. they were never designed for a dig aplication, so it will probably die anyways. use a 645 if you can

Yea, my 225GM maybe lasted a week in mine and never even saw more than one pack on rocks:-( I put in a 82MG and it's lasted through a comp as well as a few test runs!

Thanks for the input. Has anyone ever used a JR Racing DZ 8550 servo? I got a good deal so I am going to try it out on a 6.4v cc BEC. Just ordered it today from HH.
