Default up to 130 turn motors

I need help with something. I was on a webite that had crawler motors from 35,45,55,65,75,85,95,100,110,120,130. All the way up to 130 turn. I cannot for the life of me remember what website it was on. If anyone knows what site it was please help me. Thanks. Bob

I am runnin 55t Integy V11's on clod axels. The gearing is way to high .Or is it to low? It is not slow enough.I was on a website that had motors up to 130 turn , but can't remember where it was. Bob

I've heard of 80T but not 130T...do a search on ebay with "130T" and then pick on hobbies section....might just be there.

Don't let the name "Crawling" decive you. Running 8 tooth pinions on 55t motors in clod axles is not too fast

I've never seen anything above a 65 turn myself.... Personally I think 55 turns are too slow.. lol

I have a 75t Integy, but a 130? Geez, you'd need a 20t pinion to get any kind of wheel speed at all.

I got a 80t Axiom. They offer up to 100 turns.... very slow even geared up... plenty of power though for my ax-10... I advise aganist any turn above 65 turns...

Right. I run 55t's an 65t's in my clods with 10f&12r pinions and they are just about right on 3s.

But what if you put a 100turn directly on an Axial Axel?

would that shit still be too fast?

im still trying to wrap my head around this.

being that there is little to no gear reduction in the axial axels, wouldnt a 130t motor be just the ticket to slow the things down?

It would slow things down but you would have zero torque. More turns = less rpm per volt. The torque a motor has is directly related to he magnet strength and the amp draw. So in theory all 540 motors of the same construction max out at the same torque regardless of the wind. Good luck getting a 130 turn motor to match the amp draw of a 35. That would take alot of voltage. Basicaly you want to run the motor that is optimum for your voltage, a 55t-35t works the best on 3 cells, any higher or lower is not going to work as well. If its to fast then gear down. Its always a bad idea to change your speed with motor wind count. Use the best motor wind for the voltage and gear it to the speed you want.

The best torque is in the 45-55T range, They hold they torque for more RPM then most of the other motors

anything higher than 55T you get good torque at a set RPM, anything else and they drop right off

Default motors up to 130t

I found the website I was looking for that had those motors. It was www.rcmart.com. They have HPI X series crawling motors from 35t to 95t. and the ones I was looking for are the team Atlas rock climber motors from 40,50,60,70,80,90,100,110,120,130 turn Team Atlas Rock Climber motors. I am runnin stock clod gears ,55t integy V11's and 8 tooth pinions and it's still to fast for my liking . I just bought a set of 6's and a set of 7 tooth pinions I'm going to try.
