The Hobbico CS-150 has 200 oz of torque and it runs about $40 and the CS-170 runs about $80 and has over 300oz of torque. There both great servos and the price is right. |

TowerPro has 208oz of torque i think, cheapest one i seen on ebay was $11 shipped, i had one and had no problems with it, other may say differently. It was "noisy" but worked great and was strong.

I bought 2 for $17 and put them on my clod crawler which has 40 series tires. They wouldn't even turn the wheels. I don't know if i got a couple week ones or what, but what's the chance that both of them are faulty? I read a few reviews that said they fudged the numbers on the torque ratings and that they weren't as strong as they advertised. I also read reviews that said they worked just fine though. So I don't know what to believe.

I use these cheapo towerpros on my kids rigs since their radios dont have EPA's .http://www.hobbypartz.com/2xmgmegehisp.html They do ok. But for less than 10 bucks each i dont expect much. Some last a few months some last a few minutes. I put one of these in my mrc and it is holding up well. http://www.hobbypartz.com/60gexidise.html |

the cheaper 995 Tower servo is still better then the cheaper Hitec's and you can by at least 5 of them for the price of a Hitec. Bite the bullet and get at least a 300-400oz unit when ya can. |
