| Electronics for clod axle setup
So i'm setting up a custom crawler with clod axles. I'm thinking i'll just pick up a chear tq3 controller. I'm not to familiar with the clod axles and after researching there isn't to much info esc and batteries. What are these motors made to run on? I'd like to use a 12v battery source. 14.4 could be manageable but i rather not. So basically i'm looking to run four wheel steering on clod axles with whichever motors would be recommended. I'm looking for SLOW crawling. I guess I need electronics recommendations. Will the TQ3 work with 4 wheel steering, what esc would be good for two motors. (stock emaxx esc?) also, it looks like a stock emaxx esc runs from 14.4v, does it drop the voltage to 12v for the motors? What If i run an emaxx esc with a 12v battery? Sorry for all the questions but I have never messed with a dual motor, dual battery setup. Thanks! |

Not to come off like a jerk, but how in the hell do you have 122 posts, and have no idea about any of this? You stay in the Nylint forum or something? There's a crapload of ESC, battery, and TQ3 info, try the Electronics forum. And read the first 5 pages in the Clod forum. BTW, we have Ohio get togethers occasionaly. Akron, Ohio I'm guessing? |
