Thats fine and dandy--looking for first hand info. Also does it come with any servo horns like the other brands?

Im running this with great success, a bit less torque but its more than a hundred dollars less. http://www.hitecrcd.com/servos/show?name=HSR-5980SG
http://cgi.ebay.com/Hitec-HSR-5980SG...3%3A1|294%3A50 Plus it sounds crazy! Just the way I like it.

I run it. Love it's power and now a super strong case (used to go through 8711 plastic case tops fairly often).

It comes with plastic servo horns. If you want aluminum (you do) you'll need to buy that seperately.

Hey Mikey!!! Dude I run it on my Super and Im currently running it on my Berg! I ran the 8711. With the HV you will turn with authority. Helps to get you out of a bind when you need that umph to move your chit around. The all metal case is a big winner for me as well.
While at Rimrock last weekend I bound my front wheels in a v crack. I was able to move the back end of the rig left and right while steering. Thought I was gonna break something so I let off.
I run the Losi servo horns. Much stronger than most I've tried.

There are other big torque servos in the market now. The Futaba S9157 w/425oz, and the 486oz Hitec HS 7950TH.

Its the only upgrade from a 8711.

It's da bomb diggity yo. You will be straight trippin while layin back in the cut during a comp.

You WILL need this tho. I hate and dispise Integy but this has a good side to it .

Well if you need to get a servo do it!! If you are upgrading the price is a bit hard to swallow. If your current servo is better than your kids now you both just got upgraded

Diamond got his installed today and hopfully coming by friday to get the wiring done and reprogram his BEC. Hopefully we will get it done soon enough to hit the rocks in startup for a bit.

so the 8711hv is an "air" servo, and the 9100hv is a "surface" servo. i ordered the 8711hv, is the "air" thing an issue? all the specs are the same? will it make me fly (jk)? seriously, is that an issue?
