| Worth it to upgrade from DX3 to DX3R?
Hello everyone, I am in the process of building a new moa crawler using Bully axles. I am going to use the PunkRc Dig unit and plan on using the third channel switch on my DX3. I have been looking at upgrading to a DX3R due to its improved ergonomics and better 3rd channel switch. What are your thoughts from those who have used both? Thanks in advance, I don't want to waste the extra money on upgrading if the difference is minor and I don't know anyone locally that has the R version to try out. :? Also, I did look at the 4PK and it just isn't in my budget... |

Do the toggle mod on the dx3 and your good to go. There is no benefit on using the 3R. I use a DX3R because i doing like the toggle switch. But the 4PK yes there is but not worth the money to some.

I was in the same boat, but got lucky and traded my mini crawler for a dx3r and cant compain, its an awesome radio, but if you could do that mod, I would just mod it, its pretty dang cool to have a working winch though! |

Alright, thanks everyone for your input. I'll probably stick with my DX3 and put the extra $$ towards something else - like upgrading my 3.3 Revo to brushless!
