the thing that i found with brushless out runners was they cogged(jerked alot) at low speeds. also the inrunners that i have tried the drag brak wasnt up to par.

i use a brushed motor on three cell lipo. it gives you great low end throttle control and a good drag break.

Novak goats drag brake works excelent...

If you go brusless---inrunner is your only "good" option...

Novak makes two good setups. If you go with the brushless, it might feel a little smoother and will run like new for much longer. It doesn't seem to hold as well with brushless with a drag brake, but it still works fine. If you go with the Novak 55 setup, it looses a little of its slow end accuracy and control, but it has a better drag brake ability. I myself run brushed. Right now I am running an Integy 65T. It works really well for me. I only run a six cell NiHm so i use a higher turn for better control that I don't get from a higher voltage pack. Brushed takes some maintinance to keep it running well. You have to clean the brushes every so often, and rebuild it every year or so. Brushless is a lot less work. This is my opinion though.

I run brushed in my comp rigs, and brushless in my bashers. Sensored is the way to go for brushless stuff if you want great low speed control, but sensorless can be pretty cheap.
