bit confused after reading up loads & loads of old threads about this.

i'm putting together a clod crawler for the first time. i'm going to use the cvx to run a pair of lathe motors. i've done the mod on the cvx to run off of 1 battery, but i'm not sure about what voltage to go for.

what is the max amount of cells i can now use, on the modded cvx, to make a battery up that won't damage anything?

i thought i'd start with 6 cells & go from there. just keep adding cells until i was happy with the way it ran.

i want to use sub Cs, as i have loads of these kicking about.
