My steering servo on my Axial (Tower TS-150) has decided to start eating the one gear in the servo that is not metal, and I can't find that same exact gear that is the same size in metal form, so it is time to get another servo (this servo has volunteered for duty as a wench servo). I'm going to go with one of the 333oz servos, but I was wondering how long the high torque servos last before then need to be replaced. The TS-150 lasted about a year, it took me through six comps and died on the 7th. As luck would have it, the last comp was digless, so I just moved my dig servo to the front axel and was back in business. |

I have a servo in my Berg that had two seasons of 1/8th buggy racing and now two years in my crawler. Not alot of use in the crawler but almost 20 gallons worth of use racing. I still can't kill the thing and it's only 200in/oz or so. It's an Ace 1015 and it has more than enough torque.
