| Speed and Gearing chart?
Castle has a nice speed an gearing chart for brushless motors. http://www.castlecreations.com/suppo...ring_chart.pdf Anybody know of a chart like that for brushed motors? |

I haven't seen one for brushed motors. I would put a lot faith in that chart though. It'll be a good base line but there are a bunch of variables. Internal gearing will change the final drive ratio. I haven't looked at the chart but I imagine they took that into account. But is that chart based on touring car sized tires or truggy sized tires or somewhere in between?

Yes, the link I posted did not factor in any ring/pinion gearing or tire size. I know it is not an absolute, but it would be interesting to see. |
