| What motor for my combo?
I have switched from a rooster crawler/55 to a sidewinder & still have the 55 but I need more wheelspeed! I am thinking a 35t-cheap one for now-till I go lipo,or 45t? How much of a diff between them? I run 6 or 7 cell 2/3A packs. Which cheap motor & what turn should I get ($30 or less) I have a heavy Edge chassis & heavy Mayhem 2x phattys, so I want something with good torque to move the pig.... Which motor should I get when I go to a 3s lipo? (poss. BL but prefer A REAL NICE BRUSHED MOTOR!) ($75ish) Last edited by R/CMaxximus5.0; 08-08-2009 at 11:56 AM. |

Why waste the money on a Cheap motor if you plan on upgrading anyway? Save up an extra $20 and get a nice Handwound one.

I would either get a 35t handwound or a cobalt puller and be done with it. |
