|  titan 550 in an redcat 1/8 crawler ?
Can i use a pair of traxxas titan 550 motors in my redcat 1/8 scale crawler with stock gearing and 2-3s lipo if i use an cc-mambamax esc ?

Aren't the Titans 23 turn? It will probably work but not sure about the gearing.

titans are 12t.550's aren't messary just to standard 540 lathe motors

Well ! i've just tried this setup out ! I gor like 5x the wheelspeed and still lot's of tg ! I only ran my redcat crawler fore mabu 3min's on pavment and up and down some stairs and a dirthill next to my flat. The motor's was just noticiable warmer than stonecoold and the mm slightly hotter so i think it will be ok ! I can alwas put some 12v fans on the motors and over the esc if needed :O) The dragbrake seems to be stronger with these motors to !
