Default Lipo battery question

Is the only concern about a Lipo battery catching fire during charging? Can they catch fire during storage?

Charging and discharging are the most vulnerable times for a Lipo battery. Make sure that your battery is not discharging during storage (i.e. dont leave it plugged into your crawler...)

I would also recommend visually inspecting your lipos often if you use your crawler alot or if you think it may be in a vulnerable location on your rig....you definitely dont want to start charging or running a lipo with a hole in it.....that could spell disaster ...........

No a Li-Po won't catch fire while sitting. They have to be either charged wrong, over amped, or dead shorted.
