Default PunkRC Dig Switch - Customer Service

Once in a while a vendor provides really outstanding service and I think it is important to share these instances since support is a big factor when choosing what product to buy.

So, I've had a PunkRC dig from when they first came out during pre-order and it has worked flawlessly. However, I managed to fry it a few days ago. I'm not really sure what I did, but it happened after putting a new Deans on the end of one of the leads.

I called Robin and explained the situation and asked about the best way to get it repaired. He asked if I had any comps coming up, I replied yes, and he says that he will send me a new switch free of charge and to just mail the old one back.

I repeated my story to him and explained that the failure was 100% my fault and that up until now the switch had been fine. He said no problem, that he would take care of it and even offered to cover the shipping of the new switch.

Even in the best situations, most manufacturers want you to send the old part back before shipping a replacement.

So, I quickly received a new switch at no charge, and with no questions asked or even the need to ship the old one back first.

If anyone had any questions on PunkRC standing behind their product, hopefully this provides an answer.

Good to hear! I've never had to send anything back to PunkRC, but I like hearing stories of good customer service.

These switches are awesome and a I have not heard of but 1 or 2 problems (customer caused) with them. They will be around a long time before something better comes along...
And with this type of customer service Punk RC has I'll never go any where else. Big Atta-boy Robin

It is too bad that not all vendors are as good as this one. Great products and INCREDIBLE customer service.
