hey i have a venom 1800 mah nicd battery pack for my crawler i was wondering if a higher mah pack would give me any benifits. as well would a nimh pack be better than a nicd pack. also what benifits would i get from a lipo pack any answers appreciated

a higher MAH pack will give you longer run times,

you wont notice any differance between NiCd and NiMh packs, they are just different chemical make up of the battery

lipo pack will be smaller and pack more punch for the size. IE a a 3s lipo (11.1 volts) has more power then your venom battery and is 1/2 the size and weight, how ever you have to make sure ur ESC has a lipo cut off, or you need to run an external one, also check to see whart the voltage limet of the ESC is. a 2s is 7.4 volts, 3s is 11.1,,, each cell in a lipo is 3.7 volts
