Default Help w setup of ccbec w 2 srvos bypasn rx

I want to run a CC BEC with two steering servo's and I want to bypass the receiver. I thinki have the basic idea of it. I just run the red and black from the bec to the servo's and abandon the signal wire from the bec and run signal wires from the receiver to the servos. And the only wires from the receiver to the servo's are signal wires. I then hook up the esc to the receiver normally. Is this correct ? If anyone could draw up a schematic on this for me I would be grateful. Thanks. Bob

I have a sketch around here, maybe on my othe computer at work.
If no one responds by mid morning, I'll look for it there.

BTW, need signal and black neutral wire from Rx.
Red and black from BEC.

Could solder up a cleaner one, or use two "Y" cables sets from your LHS.

Here is what I sketched a while back.
If you use two Y harness', you would need two of them:
  1. The first modifed as shown here, with the red wire removed from the Male plug going to the Rx.
  2. Second one, unmodified, plugged into where this sketch shows the Servo plug, giving you two servo plugs. (unless you are controlling your servo with a third channel from the Rx)

Default dual servo bec setup bypassing the rx.

I am using the third channel to control the other servo.

If you find that sketch could you please send it to me. I have it drawn out here at home on paper , but the way I got it figured theres alot of soldering. I need to see how to do it using the two Y extensions. I need to see it in front of me before I can get my head around it. I am using two steering servo's on seperate channels. I am using 2 towerpro 995 servo's and I setup the CC BEC to put out 6.5 volts, someone told me the max input for that servo is 7.2V, but I didn't want to take a chance on frying them. Thanks for your help. Bob

Someone needs to chime in and concur or deny the following.

What Slashbasher wants:
  1. Two servos powered by BEC
  2. BEC power not going into Rx
  3. Modular (minimal soldering)
Here is what I have.
You need:
  • one short "Y" harness
  • one short extension harness
Everything shares a common neutral/negative.
Only thing with this, is unequal positive and negative going to Rr(ch3) servo. But it should affect it.
