Default CC bec still powerd up after turning off?

I just got my CC BEC and I love it. Wished I got it like last year. Oh well... Only question I have regarding the CC bec is that If you turn off the esc and then the radio after crawling... then it'll still be powered if you don't unplug the battery also. ( I wired up excatly as the diagram per Castle Creation website) I never had to unplug the battery right away after crawling... I guess I have to turn off the esc first, then plug the battery and finally the radio in that order to prevent it from running away...No big deal, just have to change my habit a bit. Just wanted to know if that's normal or not?

once you plug battery in your bec is getting power. alot of people just eliminate the power switch by cutting it off and soldering wires together.

the battery is your switch.

Thanks for the clear answer to my question. Totally understand that now. I did soldered the bec wires onto the dean plug with esc power wires for a clean look. I got a used CC bec off from a member here. It didn't have a switch. I don't know if it came with it or not when bought new?

I like to cut the switch off of my esc and solder the wires together. Then i just unplug the battery when I'm done.
