signalwir or signalwir and nuetrl wire from rx

I am hooking up a castle creations bec with two steering servo's on seperate channels and bypassing the receiver. The problem is the wire or wires coming from the receiver to the servos. Some people say I only need the signal wire while others say I need the signal wire and the neutral wire. which one or ones do I need. I posted the original thread a couple days ago so if you want to go back to see what i'm tring to do if you don't understand the way I explained it. The title of the thread is something like this= CC BEC with dual servos bypassing the RX or something close to that I can't remember exactly how I worded it. Thanks, Bob.
