Default radio for Tamiya MFC unit?

Hi

Looking for recommendations for radios that can control the Tamiya MFC-02 sound/light unit, to be used in a Tundra high lift. The instructions say to use a futaba attack 4WD, but I've also read that any radio with analogue trims will work.

Ideally, I'd like to use a pistol radio, simply because I prefer those.

It would also be good to have additional channels for future expansion (eg winch).

Don't want to break the bank if it'll just be used with the one model, I have a spektrum DX3 for my others so far. But if its a good 2.4 that can work with my others too, then great.

You need a basic 4, 5 or 6 channel Tx with mechanical trims. Computer radios normally have digital trims, so they can't be used.

Look for a basic airplane Tx.
