Default Binding issues

Binding issues

I had a working SCX10, i bought an SR3000 reciever for it (so i could steal the SR3100 for my CR01) I unplugged the SR3100 and swapped it for the Sr3000, I went to bind the DX3R to the SR3000 and no go?

I didn't mess with the FXR because its the same controller

I turn on the ESC (while holding the bind button down, on the receiver) and the FXR and SR3000 flash very fast, I turned it all off and unplugged the SR3000, I turned on the ESC (without the sr3000 or steering servo hooked up ((the motor is still hooked up for the second try)) and the FXR still flashes very fast.......I try this a third time with everything hooked up and the servo goes to neutral and the receiver flashes twice and stops for 20 seconds then back to flashing fast on FXR & SR3000.......I'm i missing something or is it that i just worked 7 nights in a row and need sleep

my set-up

ESC: FXR / Motor: 55t Integy / reciever SR3000 / Battery 2s Lipo

i did try another battery and checked both batteries they are fully charged

i can't check back here until i'm off work at 7pm

thanks

You mentioned you have the DX3R, but didn't mention binding the transmitter.

http://www.spektrumrc.com/Articles/A...ArticleID=1712

Direct quote from Spektrum.

"The DX3R is an all-new radio from the ground up. From the unique casing to the menu system, the DX3R is unlike any radio. Unlike previous Spektrum-based radios or modules, the binding process is initiated electronically instead of mechanically. Gone is the Bind Button, replaced with a setting in the DX3R’s menu system. To bind your receiver to your radio, power on your receiver with the bind button pushed in or bind plug installed. Highlight "Bind" in the menu and push the roller in. After a few seconds, the binding process is complete. It’s all very simple and quite convenient."

I have had to bind one more than once, but I think I was causing the issue.

Thanks phillyb. I was just about to edit my post when I saw you posted up. I guess if I would of read the post again, and slowly, I would of saw the DX3r.

But yes, the same thing just stated. You didn't say any thing about binding the TX. I bet this will solve your problem.
