Default Motor confusion

I'm a little confused...

I bought a 45T Integy motor to replace my 65T, I have wired them up exactly the same (including the caps). When I go in the foward direction with my TX the old motor turns to the right, the new to the left... what the hell? I'll reverse the leads on the new motor, but I want to know why it doesn't turn in the same direction as the old motor...

My stuff:

Given my last post about the caps/diodes, it is very likely that I am still feeling the effects from the drugs I had for my eye surgry, so if this is another dumb question, be kind...

Is the positive markings on the exact same side as the original motor?

Good possibility your end bells are turned different also. If the motors are assembled 180deg around the motor will spin opposite also

Bet you just got it wired backwards on accident. Make sure you didn't reverse your throttle on your TX also.....

Yup, markings are the same. Nope, I didn't reverse the TX, I tested them back to back plugging in the old one first then the new one, I didn't want to get it installed and find out that it wasn't spinning the right direction. Aside from the stock axels being poopie, the motor install is my only real gripe about the truck.

Thanks for the input!!!

Loosen the endbell and rotate it 180 degrees. Integy doesn't set them up for a certain rotation, that would take time.
