| BEC questions
I just installed the castle bec into my sons creeper and just had a few questions. First off, i didnt have the castle link but from what i understand, the bec is pre-programmed at 5.1v. Am i going to be fine running it like that. Second, is it normal that the rigs steering stays on even when you switch off the esc? With the battery still plugged in, i go to switch off the esc but the bec light is still on. At this point, i have no throttle input from the transmitter but i do have steering. Sorry for bieng a noob at this but im slowly learning.

Lower voltage is OK...Most set it for 6V b/c that is the max for most servos. Yes, the BEC will always be powered on b/c it is wired directly into your battery. It is always best to unplug the battery everytime anyway.

Did you buy the BEC at your LHS or online? My LHS has a Castle Link and before I bough one, would always program my Castle products for me. |
