Default Sidewinder pro help

I have the sidewinder micro pro. Its been running fine since I got it about 2 weeks ago.
I go to switch motors this morning and clean up some of the wiring.

Get it all done, double check everything. Fire it up, no beep. Steering works, no power to the motor.
I hooked the motor straight up to the battery to test it, and its working fine. But still nothing from the ESC.
I re-installed the firmware update, nothing.

It shows the green LED when pull the throttle, red when pushing it, and yellow in nuetral (as its supposed to). I checked the "beeps" in castle link and its still on. It just doesn't beep when you turn it on, and its like its not sending power to the motor.

Any ideas...?

Yep, no dice.
Steering still fine, no power to motor.

I just dont get it. It was working fine yesterday. I re-did the wiring, (as in re-routed it, and put new connectors on the motor) and nothing. I double checked the connectors, and even tired taking them out... still nothing.

Not sure about the Sidewinder, but most ESCs beep by pulsing the motor - it's the motor making the noise, not the ESC.

No beeps and no power to motor, but the motor works on a battery, suggests a bad solder joint on one of the ESC's motor wires, or a broken wire. Check the wires with a meter.

Try switching some of the wires. I was told by a tech at CC that the latest version of their software was written differently. I currently use the white wire on the ESC as a positive and black as a negative with the brushed motor on my MRC.

Redo the wiring to the motor, check for a cold solder. How are you testing the motor to the ESC?
