| Hyperion EOS0606i data output port?
Got my hyperion today and it says on the box and the charger that it has a data output port.....I cant seem to find it and the manual has no info about it. What am I missing? Is the port inside the charger? If it does have the port, what cable works for it? Yes I searched online quite a bit too lol. Thanks ahead for info |

Looks like a servo plug if I am not mistaken.

There is a servo plug outlet on the side and there is a cord that came in the box for it. The manual also has no mention of it. The cable says rx, tx, V+, GRD...heres a pic I thought data cable means usb to pc type cable. Whats this cable used for if this is the data cable?. Sorry not an rc newbie but this is the first quality charger i've owned and want to be able to fully utilize it. I has already saved one lipo of mine and one nimh from the recycle bin. | |

There is an intermediate device between the pictured plug and the usb. Then the charger can talk with the computer. I have never actually took the time to use it, my chargers are not close to my computers.

Ahhhh ok. And then there was light lol. Thank you. I'm going to try to see if my lhs knows more on how to get the rest of the cable. I have my charger right by my pc as its my hobby/relax room. And its always a mess. I just so happen to already have a pic of some of it online. Many an hour spent here |

How often does Hyperion release a new firmware? Is this a necessary upgrade to purchase?

Hyperion's website is terrible for navigating. I have the interface, I use it for my heli ESC but I could not find the firmware (didn't come with the interface). A goggle seach showed the exact url for the download where the hyperion home page has near zero options for navi. I guess I could plug into my windows computer but it's probably as helpful as running a temp probe on my lipos, |
