Default tekin 35t

i have a tekin 35t motor what should i do to keep it running at its peak. never had a bushed motor and not sure what to do. anything helps

Every now and then I like to take it apart to clean it and install new brushes.....but thats just my comp rig.

I assume you mean brushed, not bushed. The tekins are ball bearing motors. You'll want to keep an eye on the brushes and com, oil the bearings once in a while and clean the can etc. Some do this after each run with crawling I would probably do it every 5 packs or so or when it gunks up good. Reading John's motor thread, Caring For Your New Brushed Motor could be of help too. One thing he doesn't mention is to check the brushes and hood, sometimes the brushes will hang in the endbell. A small hit or just a bit of grit or crap can do this. just re-seat the brushes and make sure they can move in the endbell.

That motor will bring you nothing but heartache..you should just sell it to me for $15 shipped...
