Default All the new 2.4's

With all the new 2.4ghz radio system that are out now, I was wondering if people have tried crossing brands. Kinda like how you could use spektrum Rx's with nomadio, can you possible do similar with the traxxas 2.4 or the tower stuff, or the airtronics. Any one have experience?

If some brands transfer if would be nice to know and expand your choices on TX and RX choices.

No I upgraded my Spekky JR-R1 to the DX3R. But I've used the m8-11 and they are great radios too.

losi and Spektrum are the same company thats why they work.

I was just kinda hoping that with all the new manufacturers out there that a few had used the same technology as others.

When it come to electronics...you get what you pay for period. wait for a good deal on a spektrum/jr, futaba, airtronics...stay away from the cheap china knock-offs...

If the condition is mint, then used equipment is the way to go. I have a used m11, a used m8 and a brand new m11x. I race with the m11x and the m11 is for my bashers. I keep the m8 as a backup. If I bought all 3 new I would have spent over a grand. Instead I saved a bunch of money for other things and I have a solid radio setup.
