Depending on maintenance, voltage and abuse..... Run in water or mud much? If the motor is not kept clean, like any motor, they'll wear out faster. High voltage takes a toll on them...mainly brush wear. Like many 55t motors, even with average maintenance, you'll get your money's worth out of it. Hard to put a time line on a motor since we all treat them different. On that note,I've got 2 cheap 35t's in my Berg, beat the snot out of them, take it swimming frequently and never maintenance them....other than putting a new set of brushes in them once.....they are still going strong after nearly a full season. |

the axial 55t is an alright motor they last a awhile but do lose wheel speed and torque kinda fast, and your not able to do maintenance to it either as it is a closed can motor. i had it my ax10 when i first put it together then later upgraded to the novak 55 which is way better. more wheel speed and more torque than the axial 55t. i highly recommend just getting a novak 55. or if you want i might still have my axial 55t buried in some boxes, if you want it pm me

I ran one of those for a while, and to be honest, it really didnt do it for me. The motor was of good quality, but I wanted a little more wheel speed and power with it. It did provide good low end control, but I want some ZOOM with my rock crawling
