Default wp blue XL-5 need lvc

i cant find a lvc for my waterproof XL-5 ese and i want to run lipo on it.
i have looked for one but they say it will not work for the blue XL-5 so how do i get a lvc on this ese some has to have done this here please help thanks Dan

The only way to do it is to put an external LVC on, there are a couple of couplanies that make then.

sorry but if you read this it tells you that it will not work This is the Novak Smart Stop 2-Cell LiPo Cut-Off Module. **This module is NOT compatible with the Traxxas XL-5 ESC with the** **BLUE case #3018X (TRAM3028), see COMMENTS below.**



so that why a started a new one there is no way to find one that i see

As i stated in the last thread you need a low voltage Alarm. This has an alarm that sounds when the voltage is low! Google Low voltage alarm, thier cheap.

i know that but i would feel safer with a cut off thats why i would like to find a way to do it

The cutoff alarm will tell you when your getting to you low voltage threshold. Doesnt take a rocket sceintist to figure out that you need to stop your rig when the alarm starts going off.

When i was racing my slash. I went through the same search as you. You should just listen to these guys. I never found one and I'm guessing you want either. Not until someone comes out with something. You can either get a alarm like the guy says above or watch your vehicle and as soon as you see the power drop back just bring it in. Right now I believe those are your only choices i believe.
