| spektrum reciever questions (dsm/dsm2 mumbo jumbo)
Is it possible to bind a new dsm2 reciever with an old spektrum remote, liek the original DSM only dx3's? Also, is it possible to link the air recievers (like the 5 and 6 channel ones) to DSM only surface remotes? I ask this because i own some nomadios (3 to be precise), all of which support DSM via Da Slow Mode. I want to get some spektrum recievers to use with it, as they are easier to find than the noamdio transcievers. For crawlers, I find that I do use all 4 channels (4ws, thottle, and dig). Spektrum surface recievers only have 3 channels, but I was hoping maybe I could bind to the air receivers. I should be able to bind to anything that the old dx3 can bind to. |

I believe that the DSM2 receivers will not work with the Nomadio. Air receiver will not bind with surface radios and vice versa.

The way I understand it, DSM2 Txs will work with DSM and DSM2 receivers, but DSM Txs will only work with DSM receivers.

NOOOOOOOOOO, looks like the nomadio reciever is the ONLY option if I want to use all 4 channels on my nomadio. THanks for making it clear though. | |
