Default will the battery milliamp's hurt the esc??

i know u have to have the right volts but does the milliamp's matter i heared its like a gas tank where its just like going from a 12 gallon to a 20 gallon is this true because i want longer run time and right now i am running 1100. plz some one let the newbie know ='(

Ya, its true. The mah rating can be compared to the size of a gas tank. The voltage is like the type of gas.

Milliamps rating on your power source will not hurt the ESC. More milliamps the more run time you will have.
