plug in another servo of any type and see if it also "goes dead" at teh same time as the 7955tg. It;s possible you don't have enough power, and te reciever loses power / connection, and makes the servo seem dead. Do you have a BEC?

i tried it with another servo and i didnt have any issues, and where would the "losss of power" come from if my battery is fully charged and the connections are good? and yes i am running a bec. .. .

Did you try them both at the same time.

The loss of power woudl come if your BEC can't handle the current.

The 7955tg pulls a lot more current than lesser servos' WHich is why I said use abnother servo at THE SAME TIME, not replace the 7955. What I mean by this, is put another servo in the throttle slot WHILE the 7955 is still in steering channel. Tis very easy to lose power with a full charge if your BEC can't handle the current neccesary.

Make sense?

Did some googling, according to this link: http://www.rctech.net/forum/ask-hite...hs-5745mg.html
the 5745 (which is less powerful than the 7955) can pull up to 4.8amps. The 7955 will be able to pull at least that much, probably more. The Sidewinder has a 3 amp BEC...

EDIT: Reead my post and realized it seemed like i was shouting at you. FYI, i did caps to emphasize the important stuff, not to shout at you, lol.
