i have a 4x4x4 tamia txt-1 i have been running only two wheel steering in rock crawling and want to take the next step up in maneuverability all i have is a two channel radio and im looking for some helpful advice on which three channel radio would give me the best bang for my buck so to say in a pistol style preferably a spectrum set up

Depends on what your budget is (how many bucks you have to bang...). The most cost-effective is the TQ3, very light on features, but it will get the job done.

If you looking for something with 2.4 and a multi position three channel check out the Ko-Propo from RPP hobby. At $189 it's a steal.
