| tekin Rebel vs. Tekin Rebel 2
What is the difference? I went to Tekins website, and I cannot find any info on the Tekin Rebel.

From Tekin's website: Rebel size 1.8x1.4x1.1 weight 2.4 oz resistance 0.0038 max current 140 cells 4-10 motor limit 10T+ The manual http://www.teamtekin.com/Manuals/Rebel,Titan98.pdf Rebel 2 size 1.8x1.4x1.1 weight 2.4 oz resistance 0.0038 max current 140 cells 4-10 motor limit 10T+ The manual http://www.teamtekin.com/Manuals/REBEL2%20MANUAL.pdf All of the specs are the same, except in the Rebel manual it says on page 11 that a reciever pack is needed for more than one servo. The Rebel 2 has a higher BEC rating (6volt/5amp) and can power more than one servo. (I have used 3 hs645 servos with it). I don't see anywhere what the specific BEC rating is for the Rebel, but I would guess it is a typical 1amp since they say to only use 1 servo with it. |

I am running 2 55t lathe motors, and 2 servos of course. I planned on running a receiver pack anyway (just because I am used to it). I found a Rebel for real cheap, but my eye is on the Rebel 2......so I didnt know what to do.I appreciate all the help!

I'm using the rebel 2 and love it. I'm running 2 gws 133oz metal gear servos and a single 27turn 550 can motor. It so much easier to drive than the old EVX I was using. The only hard part is setting the reverse delay. I currently have it down to about 2 tenths of a second and its not bad.
