I would have to agree it sounds like a bad servo. Can you try it in another rig with no known glitching issues?

when i got my 8711 i freaked about the glitch i had, it was also the first digital i'd had. my problem was old am radio, but it'll be loud if there's pressure against it (like turning on carpet without moving, it'll whine until you creep just a hair to relieve the pressure.

Unfortunatly no other rig to test it on yet but the servo freaks out from left to right for about 2 sec then stops, brand new servo that wasnt cheap kinda discouraging, when i swap the old tower pro no issues?

same here 8711 went crazy, 3305 worked fine. what radio do you have? i bet it's the issue not the servo.

i'm not very spektrum smart but i think you need to speed up the frame rate

Speeding up the frame rate would burn out the Tower pro analog servo.
I have heard that some Speky systems do not like to run a combo of analog and digital servos. Just for kicks try removing the Tower pro, rebind and then install the JR servo.

I don't think that the DX6i has adjustable frame rate - I've never seen the option on my DX6i.

I'm running 2 Hitec digital servos (7955) and 2 Hitec analogue servos (HS55) with my DX6i - no glitching.

Try disconnecting one of your ESCs from the Rx.

I wonder if you are pulling too much current through the Rx's power rails. Maybe you could power the steering servo directly from the BEC, rather that through the Rx?
