Default Battery Charging Question...

Hopefully I've about got batteries figured out enough to stop asking questions on here... but untill then... here goes!

For my slash (stock electronics, except servo) I'm running a 4500mAh 7 cell Team Orion ROCKET PACK.

I'm using an Onyx 200 charger, which has 3 charge current settings: 1.5A, 3A, and 5A. I'm charging the 7 cells at 5 amps... as per Onyx instructions... is this bad?

Should I be charging em at 3 amps?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think you can still charge it at 3A but will take longer. And if you go 5A, I dont take its gonna damage your pack too. Is not much of a difference.

5 is fine. Or any other of the settings. Are you having problems?

Not yet... but when I got my 6cell packs for my crawler the directions didn't seem right, so I asked... and sure enough, everyone agreed that the directions weren't "reccomended"

So now that I don't trust Onyx's reccomendations, I figured I'd ask about my 7cells... just so I don't fry em...

preventative maintenance!

thanks guys, I'll keep throwin 5amps at em
