i have some.they are ok for me.i haven't had any problem with them.but others did have issues with them.if you do a search you'll find a good # of posts about them.i bought them when they where $24.95 so as far as i'm concerned it's you get what you pay for.i use servo savers on all my rigs.some of there issues may be from not using savers

I've bought 3. 2 of them burnt the electronics up, and one of them the gears stripped. So I took the 2 burnt ones and made one good one using the gears.

I've had good success with the ones I have, but they weren't in crawlers. That said, a 1/8 scale buggy and a Twin Force aren't exactly kind to servos either.

I think over the last year I have bought 7 of them for myself (5 standards {BMS-630MG} and 2 heat sinks {BMS-660MG}). I have 2 buddies that have also probably another 6 or so of the standard ones. I have killed the electronics on 3 of them (2 just quit working and one caught fire) I have stripped two sets of gears I now have two good work ones and I just sold two. Plus I'm now running kimbrough 124 servo savers which has stopped most of the failures for me (gears and electronics). One buddy of mine has stripped the gears once - and 1 electrically failure. Another buddy has stripped 2 sets of gears and 2 didn't work out of the package. On most of the gears sets listed above that have stripped where repaired using parts from the ones with bad electronics. BTW the new metal heat sinks servos look a bit nicer on the inside and have different electronics. |

I would recommend NOT wasting your money on them. I bought 2, one worked, one didn't. Sent the broken one back and they replaced it but included a letter blaming me! Ine of the gears is a 2 piece unit that's pressed together, I replaced 4 of them before they finally smoked. Go 1/4 scale.. the Hobbico cs-80 is almost as cheap, almost twice the torque. However... they are as large as a pack of ciggs.. Heavy |
