Default Balancing lipos

When you're going to balance lipos do you plug in the balacer first, before charging? Can you balance your lipos even when your not charging them?

charging and balancing plugs are too be hooked in order to balance it. When youre balancing it, its charging at the same time so its will be working both ways.. Hook the balancer plug first then the deans and lastly, turn on your charger and set it to balance lipo option then youre set

I use common sense rc balance pro to balance my lipos while I charge them on the onyx 230 charger...you can also use the balancer with out charging...hook the balancer up to the lipo first, then to the charger.

no you don't have to use deans to charge, most do...but you don't have to.......

Not all charger/balancer works the same way. Some charger/balancer needs 2 plugs (battery/balancing tap) to be hooked to balance/ charge.
