| How hot can an ESC handle?
Been curious about this.. Do you guys check your esc temp regularly in between crawling? Whats the temp thats considered to be the overheat temp on each esc regardless of the type before we fry it?

I have seen a few around 130 degrees and came out ok..But i would say any hotter than that is pushing the limits..

hottest ive seen mine is probaly 115-125 but when i first use a new set up (batt, motor, servo, rx, any thing electric or gears) i check my esc and motor temps a lot during a run then if it feels fine to me i usualy check it about 1-3 times on a regular run or as soon as i get done with a course at a comp

Guess so. Just got paranoid after I melted one of my esc couple of months ago.. Guess what. It was an FXR.
