Default Dig setups

Well... I sort of wanted to make this into a poll but don't know how to do that. Anyhow, for those using Berg style axles (2 motors), please post what type of dig you use (electronic or mechanical) and what equipment you use (servo brand/model, switch type). Trying to get an idea of what most people are going with. Thanks a lot!

PunkRC dig switch is the way to go. No servo needed, just wire it up and it uses the 3rd ch to activate relays. Much more dependable than micro switches. Just my 5g of copper plated zinc...

For those that have used both, mechanical & electronic, is there any sort of performance or engagement speed difference between the two?

If you're talking about the micro-switch method vs. the Punk unit, there is very little (milliseconds) difference in engagement.

I will say there is a difference.
I started with a micro switch dig at first and was very use to it.When I switched to the Punk Dig I had to work on my timing when trying to bounce ledges and dig to catch them because the did activated quicker.
Now that I have switched to the 4PK and twin ESC's I am having to learn it all over again because it is even quicker.

I personally like the 4PK and twin ESC's the best but I will say it is more to keep up and get use two.

I'm going to be using PunkRC dig switch personally, single ESC, why, cuz i'm a conformist and that's what everyone here does... If I don't like it i may consider the dual FXR's
