Default Antenna wire

I have mine wrapped around an aluminum cross bar on my AX10.
It is a crawler and i'm never to far from it.
Will i fry my electronics by doing this?

It's an FM unit.

nope you wont fry any thing, but you may encounter ALOT of glitching and interferance. unwind the atenna and wrap the spacer in electrical tape then rewind antenna, its best to to have the atennea touchign metal

Your electronics should be okay.
I'd be a little leary of the aluminum from an interference standpoint, though. Something other than metal would be preferable.
As long as you aren't having any issues with control or range, I think it should be fine.

I'll wrap the aluminum spacer with some shrink wrap and the put the antena wire back on.

as i say it is a crawler and when i use it i'm right on top of it most of the time.
I've run it like this over 30 feet away on grass with the antenna down and the response is normal.
If it was a fast Rc i would not be messing with the antenna at all.
