| Modding the 2s goat to 3s
Hi I was told by a friend that thier is a way to mod the novak goat 2cell to a 3cell. After looking over the pages and searching I can not find it I have asked my friend who found it but he also can not find it again. :? Would it be possible if someone could post up a link of thier setup or a link to a thread which shows in done. Thanks for your time in advance. |

r u sure it was for the mod because I just did a quick search and all I am finding is the NEW goat 3s brushless esc.

I was told it was a post on this forum I have looked and looked but I can not find it. I think it inc changeing the power cap but not 100% I was told by 2 diff people about it and was told they seen it on here. |

You might ask some more people, but its probably like when I ran 4 and 5s on my mamba max which is only rated for 3s. I used a CC bec and bypassed the internal esc bec, the internal bec is what determines what volts you can use.

There really is no mod to do this. The main factor that makes it a 2S Li-Po only is the built in LVC for Li-Po's is set for 6 volts. Running a 3S Li-Po on that will kill the pack. I have seen the esc take 3S packs but there is simply no built in cut off to do it safely. Jason |
