Damn, I wish my 403 was 2.4 Ghz. That is the only thing I wish was different. It is a great radio for scalers, biggest problem is finding a use for all the channels. Any more info on the conversion? |

That looks like a cool radio, but that Hobby King site keeps crashing IE.

Itīs german, but the pictures shoud do the trick. Itīs for the assan hackmodule only, though. The tearing apart the cheapo hobbyking-remote i did myself. And no, I didnīt take pictures, sorry. But if you get the stuff and donīt feel like doing it, I could help you out... Have you tried Firefox yet? At work I also have problems entering the hobbyking/hobbycity site. Errors keep popping up, but i just "ok" the errors and the site doesnīt crash

I will be trying this sometime in the future. I love my 403 and this mod would make it perfect for me. How has yours worked so far since the mod? Any issues? |

The Assan 7-channel mod (hardware can be found at hobbycity.com/hobbyking.com) seems to work fine. So far the 6channel cheapo mod with the torn apart Hobbyking 6-channel radio seems to work fine as well. Here a 5V supply has to be built in for the 2.4Ghz module. Ohter than that, |

The zener diode in combination with the resistor limits the signal-level to keep the module from frying. |

Uli, - did you also use th included capacitor? - how did you figure out that a zenor diode and resistor were needed to limit the signal? I'm just trying to understand before I mod my radio thank you
