Reverse it yourself. As long as the timing is adjustable just turn it 180 degrees.

Cant you just flip the switch on your controller? Can't you just switch the wires on the motor?

There has been a few times I put my body on my chassis backwards after charging the batts by mistake. A little on the lazy side,I'd just flip the 2nd channel switch on the radio and run it From what I know, which ain't much ,there is not a difference between the normal and rev. rotation motors. Other than the obvious fact that they run opposite direction. In a shafty based rig,I can't see the need to be concerned. Maybe some set up's might need it :? |

if the timing is variable there is no difference. If the timing is fixed, then running a motor in reverse just plain sucks. No power, no speed. Mag mayhems are fixed timing.

variable timing=0*??? should run the same either direction fixed=advanced ok forward, not ok in reverse. still dazed and confused. | |

On some brushed motors, the endbell loosens so that you can change the timing. Forward timing increases the top speed and amp draw of the motor, and Reversed timing slows down the motor while decreasing amp draw. If your timing is advanced Forward, your reverse power sucks and vice-versa. zero degree timing is best for crawling, especially non-competitive. You get the best runtimes and efficiency overall IMO. Non adjustable motors usually have advanced timing, although I think cheapies like johnson and mabuchi motors have zero timing set. |

Your right on me wanting a rr mm. I know about adjusting the timing and switching the wires, but I not to shur if I can get the timing right (never done it before) so I was look for a mm. TC told me if I could not fine one to get a 27 turn motor. I wanted to look for a mm before I went that route. Thanks for the replys
