Default BEC issues

So i am having trouble with my castle external BEC, i have it wired through a plug off of the esc battery leads and i have the red wire pulled from my esc. but when i plug the BEC into my receiver on the battery channel, nothing works. When i run it through my third channel everything works fine. The issue with this is i have a dig servo running off of my third channel. So does anybody know how to resolve this issue. i really need the BEC because the one in my esc cant handle everything. I have a futaba PCM 1024 reciever. Tanks!

Hook it back up to the battery wires and make sure your getting voltage.

Could be the receiver then. I have never had the futaba in a crawler.
